So heres the deal - three months later and nothing much has changed.

BUt we find out from the hospice where she stayed that the donations made in Lynn's name totalled about $10k (both from donations made at the cremation and donations made directly to the hospice)

After picking my jaw up from its resting place round about my knees, Mum, H and I got to thinking about where it came from.

We surmised (rightly or wrongly) that it could have come from Lynn's old workplace (the one who paid for her treatment)

So, I tried to email him.

We never got the chance to talk back in December at Lynns funeral. My name is Mike Beattie and I am Lynn Bruckdorfer's nephew.

I would just like to say a big thankyou from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done for Lynn, Richard and my family. It is still very much appreciated that you would go to such lengths to make Lynn feel comfortable in her last months. I am forever indebted to you and William Pears as a company for assisting Lynn and Richard.

My mother Karen Clark received a telephone call from the hospice where Lynn passed earlier today thanking them for the donations made after Lynn's passing. It's their donations which make the hospice keep going and provide the outstanding level of care and service to all of its inpatients.

You will always be in my thanks for providing assistance to Lynn and Richard. I cannot thank you enough for the help you have given to them.
